Jehan-Jacques Blancpain registered his brand in the Villeret region of Switzerland in 1735, making it the world’s oldest surviving watchmaking name. For nearly three centuries, Blancpain has remained fiercely independent in spirit — after the quartz crisis, Jean-Claude Biver and Jacques Piguet revived the manufacture in 1983 with a radical promise: “Never made a quartz watch, and never will.” Today, under the Swatch Group, Blancpain continues to innovate from its Le Brassus atelier.

What really stood out to me was how accommodating, professional, and kind Jacob was. Customer service like that is hard to find these days!
I had actually called another jeweler in the same plaza beforehand, and the person I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. The difference in customer service was honestly night and day.
