Founded 1884 – Rome, Italy

Sotirio Bulgari, a Greek silversmith, opened his first shop in Rome in 1884. The brand became renowned for exquisite jewellery, blending Roman classical motifs with bold colour combinations. BVLGARI entered watchmaking in the 1920s, but it was the 1970s that saw the iconic “Bvlgari Bvlgari” collection — a round case with a double‑engraved bezel inspired by ancient Roman coins.
